INTERMODULATION STUDY PROGRAM version 4.51 demonstration.
IM4DEMO will run only on floppy drive or a hard disk. It will not operate on
network system. When you execute the IM4DEMO from either a floppy drive or a
hard disk -- first thing you'll see is the version/serial#, copyright screen,
it will look like this:
A:> IM4DEMO
INTERMODULATION Version 004.51 Serial# D-00000000-DEMO
Copyright 1987-90, Lucier Co.
Po Box 218
Everett WA 98206
the '00000000' will be replaced with the actual serial number of the disk,
then you'll see the main screen appear:

<F4> Edit or View Data.
<F5> Calculate Intermodulation.
<F6> Change Program's Configuration.
<F7> End Program.
Press selection <F1> thru <F7>
We'll press the <F5> key to calculate the possible intermodulation on that
site, and the frequencies of near by sites that we might interfere with.
You'll see the possible (if any) of the frequencies scroll by, but don't worry
to try to read them, they are being saved in the file specified in the
Program's Configuration. Default is REPORT.IM4. When all the calculation's
are done, you'll be returned back to the main menu:
I'll show the Program Configuration Screen:
Current Setting are:
Display Color? NO
Monitor display's snow effect? NO
Direct Video Write? YES
Output Device: FILE
Filename: REPORT.IM4
Change Monitor Color? (Y/N)
Change Snow? (Y/N)
Change Direct Video Writes? (Y/N)
Change Output Device? (Y/N)
Monitor Color option if we display the menu's in color or in black&white.
Snow effect is on some CGA or other monitor types that 'snow' will be
displayed on the monitor. If this is a problem change it to 'YES'.
Direct Video Write option makes the program operate faster because it writes
it directly to the monitor and not through the BIOS calls. If you are using
other software and the programs interferes with the other program, then set
the option to 'NO'.
The Output Device option allows you to either send the report to the printer
or to a specified file., you can change the filename, or send it directly to
the printer. It uses LPT1: only.
Now since we answered all the options/changes, we will be returned back to the
main menu.
Next we'll look at the Manual Entry of Data screen, <F3>:

Site Name:
The program will start entering the Transmit frequencies first, you can add up
to 30 Transmit frequencies. If you add less than 30, to jump to the Receive
entry, just press the return key (don't enter any frequency), and you will be
entering the Receivers, when your done, just press the return key, and you'll
be asked for the Site Name. Don't worry if you make a mistake in entering a
frequency, you can change it the <F4>, Edit or View option from the main
menu. Next we'll be returned back to the main menu.
SPECIAL NOTE: Since this copy/version is a demonstration copy, you can add
and save up to 30 frequencies, BUT the program when it calculates the
intermodulation on those frequencies, it will ONLY calculate 5 frequencies,
(5 transmit, 5 receive). This copy also will not work on networks, only
floppy drive or hard disk systems. You are free to "give" copies of this demo
to other interested parties, as long as all the files are included.
If you are interested in getting the 'Full Feature' version:
